Lindsay Wilkins is a single mother of 4 children. She has one child in college, Kylee, one in high school, Taylor, and two in elementary school, Mason and Addy. Lindsay had Kylee at the young age of 19, and raised all of her children basically on her own, with the help of some friends and especially her mother along the way. Being a young single mother, Lindsay's relationship with her children looks very different from most people. She leans on her oldest children a lot for help with the younger ones, figuring out rides and babysitting, doing grocery runs etc. All of her children, especially her older ones are her best friends, they watch all of their shows together and argue and joke on each other. Lindsay works full time at Associates and Dermatology, but her even more full time job is being a mother. Her children love her so much and are so grateful for her raising them that they always want to be spending time with her, or doing favors for her to make her day easier when she gets off work.

Through my camera I was able to capture a peek into what Lindsays day-to-day life is like, grocery shopping, cooking meals, cleaning and simply just being a mother to her children.

Lindsay Wilkins is just one of the incredibly strong and powerful single mothers out there who raise their children all on their own, and with very little credit in doing so. Raising children and having your own life is hard enough when you have a partner to help you get through it, but people don't give enough credit to the people who do all of that on their own. Lindsay said to me, "I think all single mothers are meant to have that life, their children are more than enough to love."
